Filmmaking is one of the most multi-dimensional, complex forms of creativity in existence,
and I find the growth and discovery held within the process to be endlessly inspiring.
My combined lifelong passions of dance and writing inform my vision, as I draw on the skills I have developed through decades of practice and finesse. Intention. Storytelling. Emotion. Subtlety. The importance of details. Rhythm and pacing. Visual poetry. Instinct.
In my formal film education, I jumped between Art Center College of Design, UCLA, USC and two other schools, following my curiosity and self-awareness wherever it led, to ensure that my ability was always being elevated. I’m a true believer in the concept that knowledge is power.
I am driven by ideas, the beauty of the human experience, and questions of what if? These deep motivations have sustained me through complex, ambitious projects like combining over 2000 children’s coloring pages in animation, and burying dancers in a square yard of sand with reversed choreography.
I love to expand the boundaries of what is considered to be possible, both for myself and for the world. Let’s go beyond imagination together.
